Re: [OPEN] Failed to Mount Windows Share

I connected to the IP address instead of the network share name and it worked as expected.

Not sure why it wouldn't let me connect with the network share name, but I'll troubleshoot further with the suggestion you made above.

Thanks for your help!

[OPEN] Failed to Mount Windows Share

I'm having a problem connecting to one of my network shares via Samba. When I put in the address smb://my network share location, I can see the sub folders, but when I double click on the folder to open it I get the error "Failed to mount Windows share: Invalid argument". I am able to access this ne...

Re: [INFO] NVIDIA Driver Install for Noobs

8bit, I'm experiencing the same issue with large font size in menus, titles and window buttons when using the NVIDIA driver. Have you found a fix? My terminal fonts are also large and I can not adjust them. For reference, my card is a GeForce GTX 1080. This happens across all desktops, Openbox, XFCE...

Re: [OPEN] After Install ArcoLinux will not boot.

I think I found the culprit. It was indeed a hardware issue, but not the video card. I had an Apple keyboard connected via USB -- had a hunch maybe that was it so disconnected it and connected a generic USB wireless keyboard and everything is fine! Can boot into both Windows10 and Arco with no probl...

Re: [OPEN] After Install ArcoLinux will not boot.

OK, I have another PC that I could test on and it worked fine. This definitely confirms your hunch of a hardware issue. It's also running an NVIDIA Card, but a different model. Some other troubleshooting I did on the other PC that still returned the same error state was I installed on a completely e...

[SOLVED] After Install ArcoLinux will not boot - Reason found : Apple Keyboard

Hi All, I installed ArcoLinux successfully via USB stick, when I boot my PC (I have a dual boot with Win10 and ArcoLinux both installed on the same SSD) GRUB shows up successfully with the option for ArcoLinux or Win10. Choosing Win10 boots the windows environment successfully, but when I choose Arc...
