Hi,

I was an Antergos user. My window manager is i3. My shell is zsh. There was an article [Antergos to Reborn Conversion Steps](https://rebornos.org/2019/05/24/testing-testing/) . I assume I can follow the step to install arcolinux, but I didn't find arcolinux mirrorlist. I've read https://arcolinux.com/the-7-step-instal ... arcolinux/ , it says there is a command named `mirror` , Where can I found this command?

[Update 27 May 2019]

I also found viewtopic.php?f=79&t=880 and viewtopic.php?f=79&t=378 . But I can't found the repository named `arcolinux-mirrorlist` or `arcolinux-mirrorlist-git` on https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ and https://www.archlinux.org/packages . So when I run `sudo pacman -S arcolinux-mirrorlist-git` , it shows that `error: target not found: arcolinux-mirrorlist-git` .

We have a lot of packages.

They all start with arcolinux so ...you can type in the terminal

Code: Select all

sudo pacman -S arcolinux-
and press twice on tab

that is the list of all our packages via terminal

or you can get the same info via pamac-aur

Image

That will give you an overview of what is available.

Then you type mirror in the top right search icon and you will see we have a arcolinux ... mirror ... package

Code: Select all

sudo pacman -S arcolinux-mirrorlist-git
That is will include the mirrorlist of ArcoLinux.

You will need to change /etc/pacman.conf too.

This needs to be the content of /etc/pacman.conf. Part of no packages - iso build.

https://github.com/arcolinux/arcolinux- ... f.work_dir

If the pacman.conf has been updated, first do an

sudo pacman -Syy

and then the new repo's of ArcoLinux should be showing.

Then all the aliases we use - so ~/.bashrc content should be (or zshrc - remove a few lines that zsh does not understand)

https://github.com/arcolinux/arcolinux- ... hrc-latest

This comes with the package arcolinux-root-git if you want to install it.

Code: Select all

sudo pacman -S arcolinux-root-git
That gets installed in /etc/skel. If you want it you have to move it to your directory. That is why we have the alias 'skel' in our bashrc.

Mirror uses reflector so install reflector

Code: Select all

sudo pacman -S reflector
Now you can use the alias 'mirror'.

Get our keyring in with.

Code: Select all

sudo pacman -S arcolinux-keyring
If you run into issues with the key - this is what we do on an Arch Linux system.

https://github.com/arcolinuxd/arco-bspw ... er/ArchWay

This folder contains all the scripts to make it possible to have ArcoLinux packages on an Arch Linux system. It will work on Antergos too.

It is up to you to use the original lightdm or the ArcoLinux lightdm packages.

And then we are in the desktop. That is entirely up to you and out of the scope of the question.

Check https://github.com/arcolinuxd to see what packages we install per desktop.
