Can you be more precise on what exactly led up to the issue? Maybe post the error message from your terminal inebtween code brackets? That would help us help you.

In any case, try the following:

Code: Select all

sudo pacman -S archlinux-keyring
sudo pacman -S arcolinux-keyring
sudo pacman -Syyu

I'm trying to log in to my Google account, via online account in cinnamon menu. It ask you to log in to Google account. When I do, and after entering my login information, I get the error that log in can't be added to keyring. Keyring, both arcolinux and Arch are already installed.

I don't have any code to paste, since I'm using a gui from cinnamon menu.

Tip: If you want to find a problem to a Program, run it from the terminal, if it errors it will give you the output.

In Terminal type Program name

eg

Code: Select all

firefox

I'll check on that. I'm using the community cinnamon, so I should have it. I'll check in the morning, when back at computer. Thanks

That's installed, looks like it might be a Google account issue. When I sign in, it says there is a problem, no authorized device, what ever that means. Funny thing is I never get asked to enter a pw for use with keyring. I use to have to enter a pw every time I opened chrome.

Wasn't a Arch issue, it was a Google authorization issue.
You can marked as solved
