Your in UEFI i guess :D
First you need a 300MB Fat32,boot/efi ,esp flag partiton.

And the rest is xxGB root ,xxGB home and 1,5x your ram swap partition.

I hope you disabled secure boot in bios!

Good guess!
I am doing dual boot with two separate drives and OSs
I need to do manual partition
I will give it a try this afternoon.

Thanks for your response

If you want some guidelines about partitioning you will get some info from the Arch Linux tutorials.

Thanks Erik,
Question:
I have a Radeon card and I need to edit boot for installation. How can I access it to enter "e"? What do I type? (nomodeset)?
How do I reboot to access F10?

why don't you try our BYOI way of installing

Change the packages.both to include anything you need for your hardware.

It has been created also to overcome hardware issues.
