There are problems with Plank. When you start the applications, there are no shortcuts in Plank. The killall plank command only helps and the restart of the plank. But it is not possible to do all the time

I have never known there were shortcuts in plank.

There is just one way to get to the settings.

Right CTRL + right mouse click on the plank will open preferences.

That is it.

I meant that when I run the application, its shortcut does not appear in plank. every time you have to restart plank and run the application again so that its label appears in plank

almost any. I run, for example gparted and it is impossible to fix it in plank

Just launched and with right mouse click on the icon of gparted I choose to keep it in dock.

The only solution (I see left) is to delete all plank related folders on your home partition and start plank again so you can start from scratch

The fact is that the icon for the application does not appear on the plank when I start it. No icon to click on it with the right mouse button

Delete and re-install...

Code: Select all

sudo pacman -R plank
Delete folder in ~/.config called plank
Delete folder in ~/.local/share called plank

Thanks, I'll try again if the problem persists
