My first Linux install was Slackware in the early 90's using a stack of floppy disks.

First Arch? Might have been the Arch Anywhere installer.

My first Linux install was in 2006. It was Ubuntu. Then went to PcLinuxos, Mepis,Crunchbang and Linux Mint for awhile. My first Arch install came shortly after that with the Kdemod version.
Since then I have been Multibooting 5 to 6 different distros along with XP/WINDOWS 7 And nowadays with Windows 10.
Right now I run Windows 10,Mint 18,Solus,Visido,Opensuse and now Archmerge/Openbox.
I like to try out any that catch my interest. I also run Multirom on my N6 and do the same thing. lol

openSUSE 11.2 in 2010, the first Arch based distro was ArchBang in 2011 or 2012.

My first try was Debian, but I really started with Ubuntu 4.10 back in 2004, then went to Debian, Linux Mint and Arch. So my first Arch-based distro was Arch itself :)

It must have been slackware or mandrake back when i was a kid in the early 00-05.
First arch was manjaro when it was new, but stuck to ubuntu. Dont really remember the reason why.
It was archmerged that was the first thing that actually made me switch full time to arch based distro. The guides and the install scripts are superb. Been learning more about linux/arch the last few months then I ever done. Looking forward to do a own base install of arch fot the first time with more suitable scripts for me :)

My very first Linux experience was Knoppix, not sure about exact dates, but somewhere in years .2000-2001..i think.
Then next was Red Hat (commercial ver.) what was pre-installed on purchased desktop PC (Pentium4 Celeron - i guess)
it was something 2003, but :) what i do remember very clear :P - is that in the end of the same day,
this 'Red Hat thing' was replaced with win XP
