[SOLVED] How to change Language of Date ?

Post by Ecki » Sun Jan 14, 2018 11:53 am

Hey,
i have chosen AP-clock-blue-nobg-topleft. The clock telling me its Sunday, but i would like to have it in German Sonntag.
I guess its might this where i have to change something.

Code: Select all

${goto 20}${font Roboto:Light:size=24}${voffset 12}${execi 300 LANG=${template9} LC_TIME=${template9} date +"%A"},${color}\
${color0} ${execi 300 LANG=${template9} LC_TIME=${template9} date +"%d"}${color}\
 ${execi 300 LANG=${template9} LC_TIME=${template9} date +"%B"}${font}${color}
\
printenv :

Code: Select all

LC_IDENTIFICATION=de_DE.UTF-8
LC_TIME=de_DE.UTF-8
should i change $(template9) to de_DE.UTF-8 ? :?

First I would like you to change your /etc/locale.conf all to the same language.

This is mine.

Code: Select all

LANG=en_US.UTF-8
LC_ADDRESS=en_US.UTF-8
LC_IDENTIFICATION=en_US.UTF-8
LC_MEASUREMENT=en_US.UTF-8
LC_MONETARY=en_US.UTF-8
LC_NAME=en_US.UTF-8
LC_NUMERIC=en_US.UTF-8
LC_PAPER=en_US.UTF-8
LC_TELEPHONE=en_US.UTF-8
LC_TIME=en_US.UTF-8
That will be probably the issue.

Change everything to de_DE.UTF-8

Hello Erik i made that but is no working for me, i found the solution, simply i put my locale after the word LANG=, in my case LANG=es_MX.UTF-8.

Cheers
