[CLOSED] More functions on Audio applet on the MATE panel?

Post by Demeter » Thu Sep 20, 2018 11:56 pm

Is it possible to add more functional audio applet to mate panel? ;)
I mean to change output devices like on xfce, not just general volume?

In the AUR I see mate-media-gtk2 and -dev ... have not seen what it is.

You can rarely find the same functionality in both desktops. That is why we need to choose the desktop.

Thank you, Erik. That is old mate-media since mate started to use gtk3...

Great news for Mate users! ;)
Already found the solution for full control audio inputs and outputs from mate-panel tray:

Code: Select all

sudo pacman -S pasystray paprefs
It installs PulseAudio System Tray and PulseAudio Preferences
