[OPEN] ArcoLinuxB BYOI xfce-min

Post by guido » Sun Nov 18, 2018 4:44 pm

So I'm trying to build a custom iso and running into this error. I'm not going to be using bluetooth and fails at enabling unti for bluetooth.service.
Do I really need to install this package? If so, which packages do I need at the minimum?
Thanks

Code: Select all

The unit files have no installation config (WantedBy, RequiredBy, Also, Alias
settings in the [Install] section, and DefaultInstance for template units).
This means they are not meant to be enabled using systemctl.
Possible reasons for having this kind of units are:
1) A unit may be statically enabled by being symlinked from another unit's
   .wants/ or .requires/ directory.
2) A unit's purpose may be to act as a helper for some other unit which has
   a requirement dependency on it.
3) A unit may be started when needed via activation (socket, path, timer,
D-Bus, udev, scripted systemctl call, ...).
4) In case of template units, the unit is meant to be enabled with some
   instance name specified.
Created symlink /etc/systemd/system/timers.target.wants/reflector.timer → /etc/systemd/system/reflector.timer.
Created symlink /etc/systemd/system/printer.target.wants/org.cups.cupsd.service → /usr/lib/systemd/system/org.cups.cupsd.service.
Created symlink /etc/systemd/system/sockets.target.wants/org.cups.cupsd.socket → /usr/lib/systemd/system/org.cups.cupsd.socket.
Created symlink /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/org.cups.cupsd.path → /usr/lib/systemd/system/org.cups.cupsd.path.
Failed to enable unit, unit bluetooth.service does not exist.

You do not but then you have to delete the line 65 that activates it in

https://github.com/arcolinux/arcolinux- ... irootfs.sh

Choosing an editor is personal and not relevant.

Sublime-text
Atom
Geany
...

Sorry! I should've explain myself better. If I'm correct, the file to be edited is /bin/bash? If so, when I open it with an editor I see only hexadecimal values.
Or......looking back at your link, is this the file to be edited "arcolinux-iso/archiso/airootfs/root/customize_airootfs.sh".

So the only way to get to this file is I must build an iso first and then it creates this file, then I need to edit the file and run the build script again?

You need to interrupt the build process so you have time to edit it.

So how do I interrupt the build and start again? Sorry for the noob questions! Do I just CTRL-Z?
