[OPEN] How to get this "arrows" in your terminal?

Post by Shindu »

My question is: how to get these arrows in your terminal? Is this a special theme and how can i activate it?
Picture for better understanding:

For me they come when I install zsh script with oh-my-zsh which comes with a ton load of themes.
Not sure what you see here is bash or zsh.
I will ask around.

if it's bash you are using, first you would have to install the powerline fonts.

Code: Select all

sudo pacman -S powerline powerline-fonts
then add something like this to your .bashrc

Code: Select all

powerline-daemon -q
POWERLINE_BASH_CONTINUATION=1
POWERLINE_BASH_SELECT=1
. /usr/lib/python3.6/site-packages/powerline/bindings/bash/powerline.sh
then source your .bashrc

Code: Select all

source .bashrc

a good guide would be here:
