[SOLVED] 53/5000 Updates via AUR are not occurring via the terminal

Post by Serial » Fri Jun 14, 2019 4:51 pm

Hello Team ArcoLinux

When you enter the update command via the terminal, updates via AUR are not performed. These are only realized through pamac.

Is that the way it is or does it have any divergence?

Follows image of what happened.

See some video's about updating.

Update is for Arch Linux and ArcoLinux.

Pksyua is for everything ... also AUR then.

You can set pamac-aur to add aur support if you want it.

It is not set by default. Up to the user to do so.

Funny that AUR is enabled as shown below, but updates only occur through pamac.
By the terminal applications that are in the AUR do not update (!) Only the notifications of the update appear, after trying to update by the terminal.

The command I use by the terminal is sudo pacman -Syyu. Is there another command to update the AUR through the terminal? What little I know should work in both situations or am I wrong?

I just made a video about pamac-aur.

I made one back in the days about antergos.

And I surely will have said in one of my video's but now there is a video just about pamac-aur.

Pksyua in terminal = AUR included

Now I understood the proper function of the commands with regard to AUR.
