[SOLVED] Update Problem

Post by jasonleeg » Thu May 16, 2019 10:07 pm

Hi, I'm having an update problem on ArcolinuxB. I've updated keys and mirrors but still getting error messages
I'm running an old HP with AMD Athlon II X4 640 3Ghz

Here is a screenshot of whats happening

Can you offer any advice to help update

Many thanks

Please change the servers for Arch Linux with

Code: Select all

mirror
or any of the other aliases like mirrors, mirrord and mirrora.

Then try again.

Code: Select all

update
Are you sure you have plenty of space?

Delete the cache to start from scratch with clean packages

Code: Select all

sudo pacman -Scc

But first use the power of the Arch Wiki
use the tutorials on https://www.youtube.com/erikdubois
then use the power of google
and only then use the power of our moderators.

Hi, I tried what you suggested and still no joy, the system will not update
I tried sudo pacman -S archlinux-keyring and sudo pacman -S arcolinux-keyring and still the same.

I'm using 13% of 1tb HDD

Heres another screenshot that shows the packages being invalid.

Any suggestions?
Thank you

No, as I explained above this is not resolved. I followed your suggestions and still have the same problem. I'm not running out of storage as the HDD is only 13% full.

All posts say the same

refresh your mirrorlist

in our case we have an alias

Code: Select all

mirror
run it in the terminal

give me the content of your mirrorlist file

/etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist

this is mine

Code: Select all

################################################################################
################# Arch Linux mirrorlist generated by Reflector #################
################################################################################

# With: reflector -f 30 -l 30 --number 10 --save /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
