Hi, this happened after I ran an update command. My status bar shows that there are 15 updates but when I ran a yay or sudo pacman -Syyu, it shows that I have no updates. I cleared out my pamac cache and also updated the db. Please assist. Thank you.

You need to check what is in that code in the line down there.

Which code results in the number 15?

It's showing that there are 23 updates but running yay show there is nothing to do. what file should I check for line 15? Here are the results of yay. Maybe there's somthing wrong with the Arcolinux repositories? I notice there has been a couple of updates to pacman too.

first do several alias to get the new and best mirrors in

try to type in a terminal - one by one and update

mirror

mirrors

mirrord

mirrora

and see if this solves issues....

I see strange text concerning versions unless you have been building packages yourself.

YOU ARE AWESOME!!! Running mirror fixed the issue, updates installed. Thank you so much. Keep up the good work. I was distro hopping for awhile, but has settled with AL for the last 8 months. I'm very happy with AL. Thank you again Erik.

So bottom-line

For any future readers

There are hundreds of servers around the globe.

They are not equal.

Some are down, some are slow, some are fast, some are fully synced , some are partially synced, some have broken packages, some have ...

You get the picture.

The mirror aliases mixes the servers up.
